    Lafayette off to good start, looking to make minor adjustments

    Lafayette is off to a good start at 7-3 but there is always room for improvement. In particular, Lafayette is interested in trading some talent at positions where we have depth in order to improve at others.

    Our trade interests are summarized below:

    Looking for (flexible needs):

    * Depth at 2B/SS. Need is for a utility player that is average or better on both offense and defense and can play once or twice a week. Will consider full time players if quality and value in trade is acceptable.
    * Quality pitching (starting or relief, low innings or high innings)
    * Quality pinch hitters
    * Young prospects/players, especially outfielders and pitchers

    What I have to offer (in the right trade):

    * Various quality relievers and/or decent starters
    * Quality full time hitters including C-Michael Barrett, 1B-Paul Konerko, 3B-Chipper Jones, OF-Ken Griffey, OF-Geoff Jenkins

    Contact Lafayette management if you want to talk trade.
