GAME 2: Cooperstown won 7-0. DeRosa had 3 singles and 3 RBIs. Rollins socked a 3 run homer. Westbrook gave up 5 hits over 8 2/3 to get the win. GAME 3: Cooperstown won 5-3. Hideki Matsui was 2-4 with 2 RBIs. Cain allowed 4 hits in 7 inn's. and is 7-1 (4.47). GAME 4: Redding won 2-1. Teahen had 2 singles a pair of walks and an RBI. He dlivered the game winning RBI with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th. Haren threw a CG 6 hitter to get to 13-3 (2.59). GAME 5: Redding won 3-2 in 11 inn's. when Beltran led off the bottom of the 11th. with a home run off Lidge.
2) BALTIMORE at ASIMOV: GAME 1: Asimov won 6-0. Stairs had a 3 run homer and Kemp smacked a bases loaded triple. Peavy allowed 2 hits in 7 inn's. to elevate his record to 17-2 (1.94). GAME 2: Asimov won 4-2. Fasano had a 2 run double. Oliver Perez gave up 5 hits in 6 inn's. to go to 7-1 (3.09). GAME 3: Baltimore won 7-6 in 11 inn's. Atkins had a 2 run homer and SP, Wolf, had a 2 run double. Asimov's Aaron Hill was 4-5, but did not account for a single run.. GAME 4: Baltimore won 3-0. Beckett allowed 7 hits and 10 Ks over 8 2/3 to post the win. GAME 5: Asimov won the rubber game 9-4. Manny Ramirez and Easley each homered twice and drove across 4 runs.
